Notable annual meetings in America North with the participation of hundreds of thousands of people across the continent, including the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, Laconia Bike week, Daytona Beach Bike Week. There are countless small, regional meetings in the United States, including the annual meeting of the International AMM BMW race in the Northwest Pacific oyster, the Golden Aspen Rally (before Aspencade) in the south-west, west of Laughlin River Run, and Americade in the North.
The demonstrations often behave as entertainment shows motorcycle stunt wheelie and acts as a wall of death, live bands and lines of dice, poker runs. In some cases, the congregations are organized as benefits to organizations or groups like the American Red Cross, American Legion or VFW.
Europe
The biggest motorcycle rally in place in Europe is the Elefantentreffen (elephants) which was created motorcyclists by former Wehrmacht and named in honor of the motorcycle is Zndapp nicknamed the Green Elephant. The growing reputation led to the creation Elefantentreffen (1962) a British winter rally, the rally is held every February in North Wales Dragon.
In the UK, iron ore Rally held annually in Egremont, Cumbria and Discovery Rally takes place in Ireland. Demonstrations are held throughout the year. Many cyclists hardened (or riders) prefer concentrations winter, such as Force Ten Mayflower MCC Rally, Dean rallyman MCP Vally Rally. The usual order of days is a tent with beer and music. Rally Start usually on Friday afternoon and end at noon on Sunday. The point is to travel there by bicycle, motorcycle and sidecar or trike (no cars or vans), meet friends around the country and more often, ask your rally plate and enjoy the fun and entertainment. Prizes are awarded for the longest distance traveled, the best bike the best rat bike, the oldest person attending, the youngest person attending, etc. Generally, scheduled to meet Saturday to mount the road and some sites historical museums, etc.
In the UK population covered many manifestations of the motorcycle at the famous Bulldog Bash near Stratford-upon-Avon (recently in the news for the wrong reasons [August 2007]). Some were in groups or clubs and then the rally was born. Many were children-Ton later, the fat, then Greebos. The general term for a rider of today seems to be "cyclist."

Gypsy Tour American cycling is a term that originated before the 1920s, the term was largely but not entirely replaced by an assembly or performance. Gypsy Tours were organized into groups of riders from across the country met at a favorite destination. The term Gypsy has been used because the runners came from far away and often sleep in tents around a campfire on the road a bit like gypsies Hollywood stereotype.
An Australian newspaper, referring to a Gypsy Tour Rally from Melbourne to Sydney in 1927, said – "The idea a tour of" Gypsy "comes from American. Visit are usually held simultaneously in different cities, and all roads converge at a single site, where a demonstration was held by the parties the tour. "Gypsy Tour Term used in other areas but above all concentrations of motorcycles, and the idea spread rapidly throughout the world.
